About Century Club

Established in 1934 as a Society Club and later named as the “IZZAT ASAR BALASURYA PRASADA RAO CENTURY CLUB” (I.B.P. Century Club, Visakhapatnam). I.B.P. Century Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious Clubs in India. The Century Club was registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 on the 11th August 1933. The foundation stone was laid by His Excellency LORD ERSKINE, C.C.L.E. on the 20th December 1934. The Club founded by the eminent people like Jayapore Maharaja of those days.
With a beautiful seashore view, situated to the nearest to beachfront in the Visakhapatnam, the Club is renowned for its gentle grace and classy lifestyle. Here, the elite membership come to relax, chill out and experience good times and congenial living. From sports and gym to restaurant, bars and accommodation, IBP Century Club provides the best facilities for its members who fondly regard it as ‘a home away from home’.
The Century Club is one of the most prestigious Clubs in South India and having affiliation with most reputed Social and cultural Clubs situated across India. At present the club is having more than 1400 members in various categories like Life Member, Regular and Honorary Members.

Sports
The Club has been promoting Sporting activities. The Club conducted All India Lawn Tennis Tournaments for Senior Citizens. The Elite people of Visakhapatnam plays Tennis in the Club. The Tennis ground equipped with the Flood Lights to facilitate members to play in the night time also. The club conducts coaching classes in Tennis to produce good players.
The club also provides Senior Citizen Recreations Halls and facilitates the Senior Citizens to spend their good time to relax and revitalize their minds.
Various Sports, Social, Cultural activities are being conducted for families and children of the Members throughout the year.
